2024 will see the return of shooting at Glanusk. The shot will incompass 100-300 bird days, using ‘Foxhall’ beat on the mountain, and other renowned drives on the grounds of Glanusk Estate. Visitors and guests will enjoy the same areas, coverts, landscape of the Estate and still be impressed with the sport, hospitality and landscape of this jewel of the Usk Valley. Over many years, some of the finest shots have graced the hills and valleys of Glanusk as well as many international visitors and we continue to look forward to entertaining visitors from around the world.
SHOOTING ACTIVITIES
The Glanusk Estate can provide a wide variety of shooting activities throughout the year that include Pigeon Shooting, Vermin Control especially squirrel control, Duck Flighting on several ponds situated widely throughout the estate and rough days for a variety of species in the winter months. Accommodation
Accommodation for shooting parties is available at Pennmyarth House, the main house on the Estate, and at Glanusk Lodge (on the site of the old mansion, demolished in 1953), and full catering is provided.
The all inclusive rate for shooting parties is £325.00 plus VAT, per person, per night. This rate includes afternoon tea on arrival, pre-dinner drinks and canapes, a 4 course dinner, and full Welsh or continental breakfast. All drinks are included. If you would prefer to bring your own alcohol, the rate is £275.00 plus VAT.

Simulated Game days
Simulated Game days and bespoke clay days are available on request. Whether you are wanting a birthday party, corporate day out or organising a charity fund raiser, these days in such wonderful surroundings will certainly make a day to remember.
Grouse Days
A small number of walked up grouse days, (over pointers or not), are available from 12th August. Average bag 3-4 brace.
