This is the perfect house and location for house parties, family reunions, weddings or special occasions.
South facing, with a large veranda and fire pit to gaze at the stars after dinner in front of the main lawn, Penmyarth House is surrounded by Penmyarth Park and the 14 acre garden and Glanusk Oak Collection.
Within the formal gardens is also the ‘Little House’, swimming pool and tennis court. Penmyarth Church and the River Usk (with 5 miles of salmon and trout fishing) are a 5 minute walk away.

The Perfect Spot
Built in the late 1750s, Penmyarth House has been the main Estate house since the end of the Second World War, during which time the Army requisitioned the Glanusk mansion built in 1825 and sadly set fire to the majority of it.
The mansion was subsequently demolished and Glanusk Lodge now sits on the old site. During the war the family moved into Penmyarth House, originally the Estate Factor’s House, it was renovated from a 4 bedroom house to 14 bedroom and 12 bathroom house in the late 1930s.
Penmyarth House is hired on a full board all inclusive basis and is suitable for smaller parties from 6 upwards for groups of anglers, artists, photographers, corporate or just a few friends wanting to get away from it all and meet up.
