Glanusk Estate has five self-catering holiday cottages and one property which is fully catered.
Glanusk Lodge and Garden Cottage are within the walls of The Estate, set in peaceful, private gardens, Oak Retreat is situated above the River Usk, The Library is next to Penmyarth House and The Tower is on the bridge over the River Usk. Penmyarth House with exclusive use of the swimming pool, tennis court and gardens is the original Dower House and available for a designated number of days per year.

Brecon Beacons
Glanusk Lodge is the ideal retreat for a get-together with family or friends, a special holiday or simply to enjoy the stunning surroundings of the Brecon Beacons National Park whilst recharging your batteries. The Lodge sleeps 12 guests and is beautifully furnished throughout with an eclectic selection of antique and modern furniture along with wonderful quirky touches.
Set in its own large private gardens and with extensive views across to Sugarloaf Mountain and down the Usk Valley, guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to finding a spot to relax in or for a bracing walk.
Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is a short stroll through the gardens from Glanusk Lodge and sits within part of the original walled gardens on The Estate. It is very private and sleeps 4 people in one twin and one double bedroom.
There is a sunny kitchen and dining area with views out into the gardens, a cosy sitting room with woodburner and a family bathroom. The Cottage is a favourite retreat for anglers, family holidays and walkers. It is also often booked by large groups staying at Glanusk Lodge who need some extra space.
The Library
The Library which is opposite the Estate ‘Rod Room’ has been renovated with anglers in mind and is the perfect fishing retreat for a small group of up to 4, a couple or a solo traveller.
Accommodation in The Library is arranged over 2 levels with two bedrooms on the ground floor and the sitting room/dining room, kitchen and access to the garden 8 steps down from the front door.
The Oak Retreat
Nestled above the River Usk and surrounded by nature.
Oak Retreat is the perfect getaway for couples, anglers, friends and family or a lone traveller wanting to get away from it all.
The Tower
The Tower has 38 winding stone steps to the beautifully renovated space you will call your castle for the duration of your stay.
The tastefully decorated luxury bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen have stunning and uninterrupted views, giving you a bird’s eye view of the river and the beautiful mountain range.
