A Service of Thanksgiving for Dame Shan will take place starting at noon (12pm) 4^th March 2026 at Brecon Cathedral:  All who wish to attend are very welcome!

Order of Dress:

Ladies: Colourful and Hats

Gentlemen: Suits, Military and Blue Light Services, Organisations: Service Dress, Uniform, No Medals.

If you are representing an organisation that Dame Shan was involved with, we ask that 2 people only attend as part of that organisation and you email memorial@glanuskestate.com and let us know names and the organisation you are representing.

There will be NO parking at the Cathedral.

A park and ride will be provided from the McCartneys Brecon Cattle Market. Warren Road, Brecon LD3 8EX . (what 3 words:  Contracts.skylights.bulb) Buses will be available from 10am with last bus leaving 11.15 top the cathedral. DISABLED transportation will be provided with a number of buses with wheelchair access and flat step access.
