The exclusive use of this unique area of the Estate includes Glanusk Lodge (sleeps 12) and garden, Garden Cottage (sleeps 4) and garden, The Glasshouse, The Walled Garden and the use of the Stable Yard.
Lodge & Garden
The Lodge sleeps 12, has a drawing room, dining room, large kitchen along with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is the perfect place to base family and friends for the duration of your stay at Glanusk Lodge. The drawing room and verandah are licensed for weddings.
The Lodge is self catering however the Estate provides catered options (additional fee) for the happy couple and guests as requested, these may include tea on arrival, breakfast on the morning of your wedding to a brunch the day after. As part of the venue hire the Housekeeper is on call throughout your stay at Glanusk as are the main Estate and Park staff to make your experience hassle free.
The landscaped garden, featuring the original water garden, with stunning views over the parkland are ideal for photographs, activities and camping allowing your guests to experience this magical venue.
Walled Garden
This special site has been used by Green Man Festival, BBC filming, large group camping, children’s camps as well as a number of sporting activities and can be used for reception, weddings, camping, sports and relaxation areas throughout your stay.
The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse sits within the original private walled gardens.
Licensed for your civil ceremony The Glasshouse can seat up to 40 guests inside, or you can have the ceremony at the entrance to the glasshouse with your guests seated on the lawn.
The Glasshouse is also a unique venue for an intimate party or celebration. It is a very pretty day time venue – and is spectacular at night!
Garden Cottage
Originally the Head Gardener’s cottage this 2 bedroomed property (one double, one single, one bathroom) is situated in the heart of the “Glanusk Site”. With its own walled garden outside the front door it also looks over to the Glasshouse.
This property is perfect for your first night as a married couple or to use as base for the duration of your stay at Glanusk. You might like to consider this property for the use and comfort of guests with reduced mobility.
Stable Yard
Built in the 1830s the Stable Yard comprises of a number of stables and coach houses as well flats and commercial spaces, however for weddings and celebrations it is primarily used for guest parking and supplier hard standing. It also has loos that cater for guests with reduced mobility on arrival or departure from the venue.
